Full server to ESX appliance protection

For full server to ESX appliance protection, you will need to complete the following steps, in order.

1. Review the Full server to ESX appliance requirements to make sure your environment meets the requirements.
2. Install Double-Take on your virtual recovery appliance. See Installing the Double-Take virtual recovery appliance.
3. Install the Double-Take Console on a Windows machine using the installation file from the installed appliance, the software DVD, or the web download. Select the Client Components Only installation option. See Installing Double-Take Availability on Windows using the installation wizard for details.
4. License your virtual recovery appliance. See Licensing the Double-Take virtual recovery appliance.
5. Install Double-Take on your Linux source servers. See Installing Double-Take Availability on Linux.
6. Add your virtual recovery appliance and your source servers to your Double-Take Console. See Adding servers.
7. Create your full server to ESX appliance job. See Creating a full server to ESX appliance job.
