Shared-persistent mode

Shared-persistent mode allows usage of a shared, read-only iSCSI target with multiple initiator access. Individual initiator writes are tracked and cached by the Double-Take Flex iSCSI target. This supports the use of a single master iSCSI LUN with individual persistent write caches per Double-Take Flex Client device or AD user.

Shared-persistent mode requires a previously created target using exclusive mode. Prior to specifying shared-persistent mode, the target must:

Have had all necessary content copied or written to the target while in exclusive mode
Not have live Double-Take Flex Client connections to the target
