Post-recovery tasks

There are various tasks that can be run post-recovery in order to provide business continuity. For example, the example scenario would require an update to the (DNS) name server value on the Recovered Domain Controller and Exchange server so that they can communicate in the same Windows domain.

In addition, you may need to modify the network properties for the respective NIC.

Note: If the Network Connection icons are missing and services appear unstable post-recovery, see Troubleshooting.

Be sure to modify your EC2 security group to allow desired connection methods to the recovered servers, such as SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.
