Install Double-Take Backup on the source

Copy the installation package for Double-Take Backup from the following Double-Take Cloud repository paths to your source:

The 32-bit install is found in the C:\Installation sources\Double-Take\i386\ directory
The 64-bit install is found in the C:\Installation sources\Double-Take\x64\ directory

Launch the Double-Take installer.
On the splash screen, click Install Double-Take Backup.

Note:

Do not change the default installation location. Double-Take Backup must be installed under C:\Program Files\ in order to recover the server to the cloud; otherwise, the server cannot be recovered to the cloud. However, data recovery would still be possible to any machine, and even system recovery would be possible to a non-cloud machine with the same operating system and Double-Take path as the source.

If prompted, reboot the server.
Install Double-Take Backup on any additional source server(s).
