You only need the information in this section if you specified a shared disk mode for a target, or if you set up a non-persistent initiator cache so that the boot image is returned to a pristine state when rebooted.
After a disk has been set to one of the shared modes (shared-persistent or shared-nonpersistent), subsequent access by an iSCSI initiator will result in a cache being created for that particular initiator. You can view and clear initiator caches. You can also commit or promote an initiator cache to the master image (target).
To view the initiator caches in use for any shared-mode target, perform the following steps:
A list of caches that have accessed the target in shared mode is displayed.
Unless the cache has been cleared, the cache size, date that the cache was last modified, and the cache path are displayed for initiators that have accessed this target in shared mode.
