Use the following items as guidelines to assist in working through issues with Double-Take Cloud.
After a recovery, you may find that your Windows Network Connection icons are missing or network services, such as RPC, may be unstable. A common response to this issue is to uninstall the network adapter, restart the computer, and let the system automatically detect and install the network adapter drivers. Do not do that. You do not want to uninstall the network adapter because you may lose connectivity to your recovery server and will need to delete it. Use the following procedure to restore missing or unstable network connections post-recovery.
If you cannot successfully ping from both sides of the VPN connection, use the following tips.
On a high-latency connection, the source spends a lot of time waiting to transmit replication data because of the length of time it takes to receive checksums from the backup repository server. Accordingly, if there is a significant amount of replication, it will queue until the mirror is complete. If a ping request is greater than 20 ms between the source and the backup repository server, modify the following two Double-Take Backup server settings.
