Monitoring Performance Monitor statistics

If you are using OpenText Availability and OpenText Migrate version 8.4.2 or later, the performance objects are not registered by default during installation. You will need to manually register them by running the following command from the location where OpenText Availability and OpenText Migrate is installed.
lodctr DTCounters.ini
- From the Performance Monitor, specify the data to monitor by right-clicking and selecting Add or using the Add button on the toolbar.
- Choose one of the following OpenText Availability and OpenText Migrate Performance Objects.
- Double-Take Connection
- Double-Take Kernel
- Double-Take Security
- Double-Take Source
- Double-Take Target
- Select the statistics you want to monitor, and click Add.

Performance Monitor should not be used remotely on systems running different operating systems. Performance Monitor can be used remotely when using like systems, for example Windows 2012 to Windows 2012.
If you need to unload the performance objects, you can run the following command from the location where OpenText Availability and OpenText Migrate is installed.
