There are two ways to reuse a OpenText Availability liicense. OpenText Migrate licenses cannot be reused.
- Deactivating a license —This process allows you to automatically deactivate a license from a server, making it available to be used on another server. In order to complete this process, you must be able to uninstall OpenText Availability from the server you want to deactivate using the OpenText Replication Console or the Windows uninstall applet. You can complete an unlimited number of deactivations.
- Completing a host-transfer —This process allows you to manually deactivate a license through the OpenText host-transfer web page. You will have to use this process if you cannot uninstall OpenText Availability using the OpenText Replication Console or the Windows uninstall applet. You can complete two host transfers without intervention. Additional, host transfer will require assistance from OpenText.
